Karyatid | Brutalist Sculptural Floor Lamp

The Modern Power of Ancient Heritage and the Sculptural Dance of Light

Inspired by the figures that gracefully bore the weight of temples and heavy structures in ancient architecture, the Karyatidis not just an ordinary lighting element; it is a monumental sculptural floor lamp that redefines the entire character of a space. The flawless balance created by two figures rising back-to-back rejects ordinary lines, bringing an avant-garde gallery atmosphere to your living spaces.

The body, crafted from high-quality and durable fiberglass , presents the most refined form of modern brutalism with its smooth monochrome black finish. The integrated light spheres located at the heads of the figures, combined with their sleek lines, create a dramatic interplay of light and shadow. When the light is off, the Karyatid stands as a bold and powerful abstract modern sculpture in the space. When the light is on, the homogeneous and warm glow emanating from the spheres creates a captivating ambiance.

Vern Studio Design created this distinctive design, meticulously crafted to go beyond industrial forms and become a statement piece in your home through the unique details of handwork.
